The floating market proceeds everyday from morning till noon. Boats can be hired for surveying houses along canal side together with houses making coconut sugar which is produced and sold by somebody wearing the broad straw hats and dressing in the blue-colored clothing favored by rural Thai people. There are also many restaurants lined along both sides of canal.

- Bus: Air-conditioned and Non Air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal.
- Train: Take train to Ratchaburi from Bangkok's Hualumphong Railway Station or Thonburi Railway Station (Bangkok Noi).
