Quite basic but ok for an overnight stop it is 30 minutes
by taxi from the airport cost 600 bath quite a long way from
the centre of town if you are plannig to use it as a base
for the city. Rooms are reasonably large and breakfasts ok

The Avana Hotel has everything we need, what Avana Hotel
not have, nobody need it. Thanks for friendly welcome and
the best service. When I leave we forget my importend notebook
and camera in an backpack in there coffeshop, many thanks
fore delivering to me before I could leave Thailand.

The hotel was fine but a little worn down. It was listed
as being close to the international airport but it was around
30 minutes away so not quite as close as we would have liked.

Exactly what we expected. 1/2 hour drive from the airport,
basic breakfast, clean. recommended if arriving late in bangkok
and intend to fly out next morning.

Nice, clean, comfortable and very reasonabel pirce for all
their service. From the new airport, take about 20 min but
can be up to 30 min, if traffic jam. Very good if you like
to take a break after or before long fly. Very close to big
shoping center, that have so many good reataurants and wonderful
spa! I will come back to Avana for sure, when I visit Bangkok
next time!

We booked the standard room for 1.100 baht which was fine
for the price. Nothing special and the hotel is really far
from everything but really acceptable for what we paid for.
We checked out early therefore cannot comment on the breakfast.
The restaurant was nice and cheap, very friendly people that
spoke English well. It took us 1 hour from the old airport
to the hotel but the fare was reasonable - 450 baht fixed
price from the airport. The new airport was only 20 min. at
05:00 in the morning with the hotel shuttle (150 baht/person).
Taxi could have been cheaper but maybe less reliable. Nothing
much to do in the area, the hotel is way off; but food in
the hotel was good and we needed to stay only for a night
to go back home the next morning. Minimart and Coffee shop
on site was a plus, there is a pool as well, even massage
for a good price. All in all we were satisfied for the money
we spend.

Booking was very easy online using a credit card. Confirmation
was send immediately - nice service. Back home we missing
Thailand already a lot!!!

The hotel is just 30min drive from the airport and is good
enough to spend a night while waiting the next fly to some
local destination. Staff is friendly and speack quite good
english. I ll stay here again if needed.

decent place for the price. one small problem -- booked
a twin room but got a double. i had a copy of my paper saying
i had reserved a twin so they moved an extra bed into the
room for no extra charge. no restaurants near the hotel, but
hotel restaurant was pretty good and decent breakfast too.

good as always, but i d recommend contacting the hotel directly
once you ve made the reservation just to confirm the details
and any special requests.

We stayed in this hotel for one night for travelling next
morning to the airport. The hotel is for one night ok. Nothing
arround the hotel. Good pool and restaurant. The hotel offers
a shuttle bus at 5.00 am, 7.00 am and 9.00 am to the airport
for 150 baht/person. Other times will cost 600 Baht/car, so
than it is better to take a taximeter. Transfertime 30 Minutes

Nice hotel, comfortable bed. Shuttle bus available to the
airport as early as 5am only costs 150 Baht. Had a swimming
pool and massage parlor but we did not have time to visit
them. 60 Baht took us to the closest Skytrain station so it
is out of the way but easy to get into the city as well.

The Avana is a good choice near the new airport in Bangkok.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and as I was leaving
too early in a.m. for breakfast, they packed me a sandwich.
Also a lovely pool where you can enjoy a light meal. I would
definitely recommend.

We spent there one night at arrival and one night when we
were leaving because it is close to the airport. Big clean
room and bathroom. Nice swimming pool and good pool restaurant.
You can order a taxi by meter that is cheaper then the shuttle
bus.

Quick and helpfull. No problems at all. Would book via Sawadee
again!

Rooms are clean. There is a shuttle for the airport for 150
baths per person. It is not far from the airport and near
a shopping center.

We spent only one night in Avana hotel between 2 flights.
The hotel is not too far from the Airport (30 km) and there
is no traffic jam. Cost of taxi meter was 300 baht (one way).
The room and the facilities are good but the the restaurant
is so so.

The hotel rooms are nice and clean and service is good.
This is great hotel for using in transit. It is about 40 minutes
from Sawarnabhumi airport.

We booked our reservation using Sawadee and the whole process
was very smooth and trouble free. Also the agents helping
with the reservation are very prompt answering queries through
email.

to stay. It was vey comfortable and convenient for the airport
without being expensive. We had an early flight and were provided
with a snack when we checked out which was excellent. There
was also a small shop in the foyer. I would stay here again

Hotel was good value for money, nice clean rooms , lots
of small things for free in room, but we suffered from cold
water in the shower, we stayed three days but only one day
had good and warm water. We tried to complain but we only
had the answer to wait for hot water to come. If you were
late for breakfast the food was cold, freid eggs were cold,
they were out of different kinds of vegetables and they did
not know what kind of juices there were in the mugs , but
hotel good value for money , near airport and not too far
from sku train to the city

I stayed at the Avana 3 times between the end of December
and the beginning of January and all 3 times it was perfect
as a quick overnight stop before heading back to the airport
the next day. The staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable
and clean (although the hot water isn t always very hot).
All three mornings I left before 4am, so I was unable to benefit
from the free breakfast but was given a free drink and cake
voucher for the coffee shop to make up for it. Both check
in and check out were quick and painless. I will definitely
stay here again should I find myself with an overnight connection
at the new Bangkok airport.

Not as near the airport as the internet stuff leads you
to believe-We booked a taxi at the public taxi rank at the
iarport to take us there, expecting a short 3 K trip- it cost
us 300 bhats and took ages- the taxi driver did not appear
to know ehere it was and to be honest you may as well go into
town if that is your detination anyway. Hotel itself OK- but
dear for what you got and the location- buffet breakfast not
up to much.

We were really pleased with this hotel , we had one very
short night in Bangkok so didnt want to travel to the centre
and the only hotel in the new airport is really expensive.
Depending on traffic the hotel is about 1/2 an hour or 200
baht (meter taxi) from airport. Everything was handled wonderfully
and the room was very large clean and had complementary tea
and coffee in the room . Wou;ld definitely stay again

This hotel was a good choice for us as we had to catch an
early flight back and did not want to go all the way to central
Bangkok. The taxi fare from the airport to the hotel was reasonable
for us (THB 250 + 50 (toll fee) + 50 (service charge for using
taxi desk). It would have taken us around 35 minutes had the
driver knew where the hotel was. The hotel is just a standard
hotel with basic facilities. We booked a special suite room
and although spacious with a separate bedroom and living/dining
room the room was nothing special. We would go for a standard
room next time. We had to check out before breakfast time
so we asked for a breakfast box (basically just a sandwich).
The staff was friendly. The hotel is also near the Central
shopping mall with a good supermarket in the basement for
last minute shopping and dinner. The hotel offers a shuttle
service to the airport from 5am at THB 150 per person. We
would use this hotel again if we had to do the same thing
(i.e. have somewhere to crash for one night near the airport).
I would recommend you to print out the directions to the hotel
from the hotel s web site. The directions are written in both
English and Thai. Show the directions to the taxi driver as
soon as you get in the taxi. Not all of them know where it
is.

just spend there a night on the way to Camodia. We arrived
late in the evening and left next day early in the morning...
so far everything was nice! The hotel is not far away from
the new airport and they offer a transfer for 150 Bath pP.
Rooms and Restaurant okay and god value for the money!
